Cottier, Michael Collister & Stephen Gale were convincing 17-3 winners in the other game against
Katlyn Moore, Georgine Moore & Josh Ffrench. In the second round of games Holland's team de-

The final round of games saw Gale's side take an early lead but a run of 4 ends without reply

with a 4 to level the scores going into the last end and with Michael Collister holding the shot it

Josh Ffrench & Stephen Gale successfully defended
their 2 Bowl Pairs title last Sunday at the NSC with
a superb display of bowling throughout the day to
take their 3rd title in 4 years in the event.
Ffrench & Gale started the day against Richard
Faragher & Chris Holland who fought back from 8-3
down to 8-7 before a the eventual champions sealed
it on the last end, winning 10-7. Eddie Brew & Harry
Minor also scored an impressive victory with an 11-
3 win over Seamus Whelan & Collin Holland.
With the competition being played as a round-
robin Ffrench & Gale then came up against Brew & Winners Stephen Gale
Minor and thanks to a great start, stretching out to a and Josh Ffrench
7-0 lead they ran out 13-8 winners to keep their
100% record. James Teare & Georgina Moore played their first game of the day, beating Whelan
           & Holland 8-5.
In the third round of games Ffrench & Gale continued their dominance with a 25-1 victory
over Moore & Teare before Brew & Minor kept their chances alive with an 11-3 win over Holland
& Faragher. Ffrench & Gale went into their final game in round four knowing a draw against Whelan
& Holland would be enough to defend the title but they weren’t going to get an easy ride as they
found themselves 9-7 down with 2 ends to play. Thanks to a 2 on the penultimate end made the
scores level before Josh Ffrench but up two great leads on the final end, resulting in a 4 for the
champions and the title. Chris Holland & Richard Faragher beat James Teare & Georgina Moore
10-6 to leave Eddie Brew & Harry Minor needing at least a draw in their final game to take second
spot, which they had no problem doing with a 16-4 victory
