 WORDS FROM THE SPONSORS
On 1st July, we launched the Country Change Tour workshops for Project Oasis'. As sponsors of this Business & IT integration project, we are really glad to get the strong endorsements from Lara Brans, APAC President, for the commencement of Project Oasis for our region. As we know, Oasis is the Business & IT integration project introducing a Combined Business Model that will create a standardised platform for future growth. This operating model will deliver improved business results and efficiencies to our current business processes via standardised processes and an optimised IT system SAP, managed and operated by trained people with the appropriate capabilities.
Every new business within JDE's network underwent similar integration projects to bring about continuous improvement and associates, people who exhibit behaviours informed by our Global business' core values of Simplicity, Discipline, Accountability, Solidarity & Entre- preneurship.
From an Ops perspective, productivity improvement plays a key role in our competitive industry. As we know, MSU requires to sell goods at the best price. However, if we are not producing at the highest productivity, we cannot sell at the best price. After integration, our team faces a lot of technical issues. We spend a lot of our resources on tedious tasks such as inputting data, typing reports and generating PO. It is time consuming and prone to human error.
With the delivery of an efficient SAP system via Proj Oasis, we believe it will be easier for our businesses as more time can be better spent on high quality work which the system is unable to do: decision-making, analysing and resolving problems. This brings us closer to achieving our ambition of serving 5000 cups per second.
