McLaren Leadership Academy Classes
Emails are sent out to class participants one or two weeks before the class is scheduled to be
Class Reminder Emails
held.
for these emails for the following reasons!!
1. CLASS CONFIRMATION
This email will confirm your class registration! If you do not receive an email one or two weeks before a scheduled class, this may indicate you did not complete the registration process in McLaren University. Please check your enrollment status on McLaren University and/or contact Leadership Development at 810-342-4510 or at leadershipdevelopment@mclaren.org.
2. CONFIRM CLASS LOGISTICS
Always read your confirmation emails for class logistics—date, time, subsidiary location and place. On occasion, rooms change based on subsidiary issues. If you need directions to a specific subsidiary, find directions on the subsidiary’s public website.
3. PRE-WORK
If the class you are attending has required pre-work, this email will include a reminder and may include information about required pre-work not listed on McLaren University.
4. BAD WEATHER INSTRUCTIONS
If weather conditions are such that you question if a class has been canceled, this email will include instructions about how to confirm the class status.
If you find that you are not able to attend a class, you can drop the class in McLaren University up to 2 days prior to the scheduled date. If you must drop two days or less before the scheduled date, please notify Leadership Development. This is important for several reasons. First, some classes have a waitlist. Your notification will allow another person to attend. In addition, we need to ensure that there are enough participants to hold a class. Lastly, we need to prepare and carry the correct amount of class materials to the class location.
Cancelling Your Class
Note: We do send a “NO CALL, NO SHOW” report to subsidiary HR departments.
