fter you’ve spent a
lot of time landscap-
ing your garden and
Agetting it to look just
right then you probably a little
disappointed when the sun
goes down and you can no lon-
ger see it and enjoy it. That’s
when great garden lighting can
come in handy.
When you employ the right
kind of garden lighting not
only will your garden be illu-
minated at night, but the light
fixtures themselves can actu-
ally work as décor for your
outside space. The right light-
ing fixtures will not only add
brightness and will work in
harmony with your flowers,
plants and other structures.
More often, people prefer dim
yellow lighting in an outdoor
space. Irrespective of the ex-
panse, the dim lighting creates
a warm, cozy feel to the space.
How you induce this lighting
can vary. Since the outdoor
space is more decorative than
utilitarian, use fancy light fix-
tures to define the space. Wall
mounted fixtures, hanging
lamps and lanterns, and string
lights are all the various types
of lights you can use to light up
this space. You may also use
candles as a form of outdoor
lighting. Don’t forget your wa-
ter structures, too. Underwater
lights can light up a fountain,
pond or even a well to give
your garden a distinctive, no-
ticeable brightness.
You might be surprised at the
amount of choices that you ac-
tually have when it comes to
lighting for your garden.
