              Giovanni Altiné

Giovanni Altiné is a New York born Haitian-Ameri-
can who has grown to be both an artist and a super athlete.
He spent the first part of his life in Long Island where he
developed serious interest in sports and music. He is the
son of Kompa music legend Eddy (Didy) Altiné, an ex-
              International athlete.

When he was about fifteen years of age, his family moved
to Miami, Florida where all his abilities and talents began
to shine. He played 3 sports in high school and still pos-
sessed a hidden desire to make music. He was discovered
at the age of 19 and given a production contract which
started his fire for music, followed by independent “mix
tape releases” in 2003, 2005 and 2006. While continu-
ing with his passion for music, he has acquired additional
skills which allow him to routinely branch out to singing
Konpa with his father’s band. He is currently working on
new music, both in French and English and he can be
seen on YouTube; altinae1 and twitter@altinae.
Parallelly, his other passion, sports and fitness, led him
to work as a gym instructor/certified personal trainer in
Miami and often takes assignments as a model and ac-
tor. Giovanni’s focus is for him and his environment to
remain healthy and fit. He is developing his own fitness
plan which will help a multigenerational crowd to “live
              healthy, remain healthy and fit”.
His new passion is his eight-month old son
                       “Giovanni Gabriel Altiné”
