Glossary





               Language


               The method of human communication, either spoken or written,
               consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way.


               Pidgin

               any simplified or broken form of a language, especially when used

               for communication between speakers of different languages.

               Twi



                Is a dialect of the Akan language spoken in southern and

               central Ghana and also in south-eastern.

               Ackee


               Another name from the Twi Language and is a part of the national

               dish of Jamaica. It grows in many tropical countries but is only eaten
               in Jamaica.


               Maroon

               A fugitive black slave of the West Indies and Guiana in the 17th and

               18th centuries; also: a descendant of such a slave.


               Tropical Countries

               These are countries which are very hot and humid.


               Gizzada


               A coconut tart.
