Shallow frying

               This method utilises only enough fat to immerse approximately one-
               third to one-half of each piece of food; fat used in this technique is
               typically only used once.





               Coco-Bread

               The bread contains some coconut milk, and is starchy and slightly

               sweet. It is often split in half and stuffed with a Jamaican patty to
               form a sandwich.





               Skewers


               A long pin of wood or metal for inserting through meat or other food
               to hold or bind it in cooking.
