SKIDPAN – OCTOBER 2020

This was another fun-filled and fully booked sunny day on the Skidpan which saw 25 entrants consisting of:
20 Porsche cars | 2 Mazda MX5 cars | 1 Rolls Royce
Two new initiatives were introduced at this event:
Firstly, the “goodie bag” containing a cold drink and light snack, which was most welcome by late afternoon.
Secondly, the convoy drive through the entire course to arm drivers on negotiating the various obstacles and ex- ercises, which was a combined final exercise prior to each driver then doing the whole course individually.
As a personal observation without timing any exercises, the two ladies, Liz Ramos and Theresa Blair, would seem to have been the notable progressive drivers of the day – well done ladies!
In closing, I would especially recommend this event to any newcomer with a high-performance motor vehicle. For the next event, a guideline preview will be made available.
