They say no road is long when in good company. This particular road took us to visit the romantic and elegant Fairview Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Tzaneen from where we planned to explore the
majestic places and quaint villages of Magoebaskloof. Our Porsche Club members were tired from self-isolation and ready for an adventure resulting in the week- end being oversubscribed with 63 people.
Instant camaraderie developed between members as they introduced themselves at the departure point. By the time we reached Polokwane, we had a convoy of 23 cars.
Next stop was Magoebaskloof Dam for photos which included stunning aerial drone footage of the group.
From there Philip Smit took us on a scenic route around Agatha Forest reserve.
At the hotel, we were greeted with welcome drinks, welcome bags and members received their special edition Fairview and Porsche club T-shirts. Contents of the welcome bags were sponsored by Porsche Centre Pretoria, Fairview Hotel, Xpel and also
included luscious red cocktail tomatoes from ZZ2, locally produced gin, and other produce Tzaneen is famous for. The three kids were also spoiled with
special toys sponsored by Tzaneen businesses.
At 18:00 we met at the Fairview Club House. Cilliers welcomed everyone and explained the ‘get-to- know-each-other game of “Around the World in 90min”. This game came with a BIG Prize - A weekend away at the 5-star luxury accommodation of Tzaneen Fairview lodge.
