Diverse Attorney Participation and Support Efforts
The Department is committed to encouraging attorneys of diverse backgrounds to become
involved in all aspects of the LSBA.
The Department assists in the coordination of a reception for minority bar leaders during LSBA
Annual Meeting.
The Department provides assistance in identifying diverse attorneys that would be potential
candidates when there is a vacant House of Delegates seat or Board of Governors seat.
The Department seeks to identify member benefits that will specifically address the needs of
diverse attorneys and continue efforts to increase awareness of current member benefits that may
meet the needs of diverse attorneys.
Leadership LSBA
The Department assists in identifying diverse attorneys for the Leadership LSBA class.
