Note the mold growth on the top of the frieze.

Some of the top of the frieze is constructed with a metal cap, which is rusting. Parts of
this metal cap have been coated with tar, which is aged and cracked. The rust should be
removed chemically, and the rusted metal repaired to prevent water intrusion into the
frieze below.
