safety recalls issued by the Consumer Product Safety
Commission at www.cspc.gov. This week the follow-
ing recalls went into effect: Technosport recalls Omer-
sub Scuba Mask due to injury hazard; E-Z-GO recalls
gas-powered Golf, Shuttle and Utility Vehicles due to
fire hazard; tops with elastic draw cords recalled by
Lululemon Athletica due to injury hazard; and North-
ern Tool + Equipment recalls Little Digger toy due to
violation of lead paint standard

Exchange celebrates 120 years with scavenger hunt
In honor of the 120th anniversary of the Army &
Air Force Exchange Service, a sweet scavenger hunt
will give military shoppers the chance to search the
candy aisles of the Fort Huachuca Exchange for clues
to win $7,000 in prizes.
Through July 25, authorized shoppers can find the
five missing words from the Patriot Family 120th Anni-
versary Scavenger Hunt. A grand prize of $3,000 will

Kindergarten screening assessments set
Colonel Johnston Elementary School will conduct
beginning of the year kindergarten screening assess-
ments July 21-22. Those with children who will at-
tend kindergarten at Colonel Johnston Elementary
School during the 2015/2016 school year should call

Army Substance Abuse Program personnel will
hold Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
Aug. 5-6 and Sept. 16-17 at the ASAP office, Building

ASIST is for everyone in the Fort Huachuca Com-
munity 18 or older — regardless of prior experience
— who wants to be able to provide suicide first aid.
ASIST is a two-day (15 hour) Interactive Suicide Pre-
vention workshop. There are no prerequisites for the
training. Uniform is appropriate civilian attire.
Registration is required. Attendance by Soldiers and
Department of the Army Civilians will satisfy their an-
nual suicide prevention training requirement.

Suicide Prevention Training offered
ACE (Ask, Care, Escort) training is offered at 9:30
a.m. every Wednesday at Murr Community Center.
This 90-minute class is required annually for all Sol-
diers and DOD and Non-appropriated Fund Civilians,
but is open to all. Learn the ACE process along with
risk factors, protective factors, warning signs and re-
sources to help someone who is contemplating sui-
cide. Family members and Army contractors are also
encouraged to take the class.
Celebrate Women’s Equality Day
Fort Huachuca Military Equal Opportunity Office
personnel invite the community to a celebration of
Women’s Equality Day 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 25 at
Fitch Auditorium. The theme is “Celebrating Women’s
Right to Vote.” There is no charge to attend.
Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
