Rick Creese’s brutally funny, brutally sad world
premiere play, Millennium mixes elements of
farce, the Absurd, and Old English verse to
bring to life the story of the original Millennials.
If you think life is tough for today’s Millennials,
take a look at the last time around. As the year
CMXCIX A.D. rolls into year M, it is the end of
the world as they know it. A lot of the credit
goes to King Aethelred II (better known as the
Unready), Canute (the Viking who replaced him
on the throne) and Queen Emma (the ruthless
queen who married them both).
