American Legion Post 348
The American Legion is the nation’s largest
wartime veterans service organization,
committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship
of wholesome programs in our communities,
advocating patriotism and honor, promoting
strong national security, and continued devotion
to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.
American Legion Post 348 is located in Palmdale
with approximately 450 members. They are host
to the Women’s Auxiliary, Son’s of the Legion, and
the Legions Riders.
Vice Commander Carl Hernandez describes
the mission of the Post is to bring Veterans
together, building a strong sense of community
and purpose. “This Post will always be there to
aid fellow Veterans having problems,” Hernandez
said.
American Legion Post 348 is committed to be of
service to the community in times of need.
American Legion Post 348’s chapter of Legion
Riders has played an integral role in escorting
the Antelope Valley’s Mobile Vietnam Memorial
Wall each time it is displayed, most recently in
Palmdale, Veterans Day, 2019.
