From Wednesday to July 31, military shoppers will
be automatically entered in the sweepstakes each time
they use their MILITARY STAR® card to pay for pur-
chases at the Fort Huachuca Exchange or on shopmy-
exchange.com. Each purchase counts as one entry.
One grand-prize winner will receive a $5,000 MILI-
TARY STAR® account credit, and 20 first-prize winners
will receive $1,000 credits. If the winners’ balance is less
than prize amount, the remainder will be added as a credit.

Produce sale to be held at commissary

Fitness Center hours changing

ISEC plans change of command

Command will host a change of command ceremony

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
Army Substance Abuse Program personnel will
hold Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training July
8 – 9, Aug. 5 – 6 and Sept. 16 – 17 at the ASAP office,
Building 22414, 434 Christy Ave.
ASIST is for everyone in the Fort Huachuca Com-
munity 18 or older — regardless of prior experience
— who wants to be able to provide suicide first aid.
ASIST is a two-day (15 hour) Interactive Suicide Pre-
vention workshop. There are no prerequisites for the
training. Uniform is appropriate civilian attire.
Registration is required. Attendance by Soldiers and
Department of the Army Civilians will satisfy their an-
nual suicide prevention training requirement.

Training on new NCOER planned
Training on the new non-commissioned evaluation
report that takes effect Oct. 1 will take place from 8
a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. on the following dates in
Cochise Theater: July 15 and Aug. 5 and 26. Personnel

Suicide Prevention Training offered
ACE (Ask, Care, Escort) training is offered at 9:30
a.m. every Wednesday at Murr Community Center. This
90-minute class is required annually for all Soldiers and
DOD and Non-appropriated Fund Civilians, but is open
to all. Learn the ACE process along with risk factors, pro-
tective factors, warning signs and resources to help some-
one who is contemplating suicide. Family members and
Army contractors are also encouraged to take the class.
