What an incredible first year of working in partnership together to realise the full potential of the amazing Terry’s Chocolate Orange brand.
In such a short space of time we have achieved so much. We delivered on our initial objectives to ensure business continuity at go–live and executed the Christmas 19 plans that we had inherited from the previous distributor.
In 2020 we have built on these tremendous foundations to accelerate the growth of the Terrys brand. We have refocussed efforts on our core all year round range, grown the business at Easter despite the Covid impacts and have further accelerated growth on TCO ball. On top of this the tablet launch in ICC has been a best in class activation and gives us a blueprint for future launches.
For me though, it’s not just about what we have achieved but also about how we have done it. It really feels that we work
together as one team, always bringing a ‘can do’ attitude to find winning solutions.
Big thanks to everyone at SHS who has helped us deliver these amazing results - you should feel really proud of what we have achieved.

THE TERRY'S TEAM...
In just one short year it’s already been an intense and fruitful Terry’s adventure with so many challenges to overcome, some we expected and some that came as a surprise! Some key highlights for me:
How we managed together the critical go-live period maintaining business continuity despite inheriting a Christmas plan from our previous distributor (who is now a key competitor!).
How we managed together some service challenges... Some due to production issues, and some due to sales performance way ahead of expectations
How you have driven growth in the ICC channel and in particular the turn around performance in the Co-op.
How you have executed our new tablet innovation in the ICC channels
and the fact that you are more than 50% of our total sales
How you have reacted to the challenges that Covid has brought us.
An enormous thank you to all the SHS team for these achievements.
And of course the adventure continues with new challenges ahead of us including Xmas ’20, Easter ‘21 and Brexit... what else?
