             Medical Leave

If you have a minor illness (flu, cold, headache) and are too ill to
continue driving, you may elect to stay in your truck or make other
arrangements at your expense until you recover. You must advise your
Driver Manager so that your truck can be taken out of service.
If you require emergency medical treatment or an ambulance, contact
your Driver Manager or 911 for assistance. If you have had repeated
illnesses or a serious illness, you may be required to obtain a physician’s
certification or release stating that you have recovered, are able to
meet the D.O.T.’s physical requirements, and can perform the essential
functions of your job (with or without accommodations).
