PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him. Genesis 37:4
TO GOD: Father, you are a God of love; in fact your Word tells us that you are love (1 John 4:16). May your love shine ever brighter in places of darkness.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, please forgive us when the undercurrent of hatred, prejudice and envy has masked the love you call us to share.
FOR THE WORLD: Father, we pray for your world, especially for those living in physical, emotional and spiritual turmoil. Raise up a generation of men and women, bold in faith and generous in love.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, may your Holy Spirit move in power, convicting of error and promoting holy living. May our laws be righteous and just.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may my life declare and demonstrate the reality of eternal life in ways that both challenge and attract my friends to come to faith.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I be a channel of love and blessing to those near and far. Lead me to someone today to whom I can extend your loving grace. Amen.
   PRAYER
Father, we ask that your Holy Spirit would renew lives at Time out with God on 1st September. In Jesus name.
AMEN.
