Design
Designs protect the ornamental or aesthetic aspects of a product for a limited period of time (up to max. 25 years).
Technical and functional effects of a product are excluded from design protection.
Only new designs with individual character can be protected.
Design protection provides the owner the ex- clusive rights to take action against others for unauthorized copying or imitation of its designs.
