MASS POWER DANCE
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
Eligibilities:
1. Participants must be bona fide students of JH Cerilles State
College and should be officially enrolled this 2nd semester of
2025.
1. The Event headmaster will require the Certificate of Registration for validation
purposes on April 16, 2025.
2. The music must be pop music and the actions must justify a power dance.
3. The costume of the participants must be Intramurals School Shirt.
4. Dancers are either male or female and are open to all ages.
5. Number of participants must be minimum of 40 and maximum of 50.
MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES:
1. Dance performance must be at least five (5) minutes and a maximum of five (7)
minutes. A corresponding deduction of two (2) points for violation;
a. Each group will have a pre-set of ten (10) seconds. After such, the group's time
automatically starts.
2. MUSIC
a. Groups must submit their final Material on CD or USB on or before April 7,2025
11:00 am but not later than 12:30 NN.
b. The committee on Mass Power Dance will not accept CDs, Cassette tapes at the
time of the competition. The music should be ready in USB and mp3 file format.
c. One representative is allowed to assist in the technical booth during the
performance.
d. Groups must prepare a backup USB. The group leader should check the music
upon arrival or 1-hour before the competition. In case of technical problems due
to their material, the group's time will continue to run despite technical problems.
However, if the technical problem is due to the committee's technical equipment,
the group may continue or repeat the performance.
