Individual OOPM limits your portion of covered expenses for any one covered individual (you or a covered family member) in a calendar year. If you reach the Individual OOPM,
the plan pays 100% of that individual’s covered expenses for the remainder of the
calendar year.
Family OOPM limits your portion of covered expenses for your entire family in a
calendar year. If two or more family members reach the total Family OOPM, the plan pays 100% of covered expenses for all of your enrolled family members for the remainder of the calendar year.
Note – Out-of-Pocket Maximums only apply to covered expenses under the medical and prescription plans and there are separate OOPMs for In-Network and Out-of-Network services.
