MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
Hi Members,
I feel that I always start my talk with a comment about the constantly changing British weather. The weather does a ect the degree of enjoyment that we get when using our campers for the use which they were intended. We enjoyed ourselves at Oswestry, but there was a freezing wind that chilled us to the bone! Let’s hope for warmer weather at the next show. I have spent a lot of time making bunting lately, but as you will see from Christie’s article covering the Bus Types show, the result was worth it and our stand was so eye catching that it made all the hard work worth the e ort. Unfortunately, not all dogs are yet sporting one of my bandanas, so I’ll have to work a bit harder at that one.
A very big VWT2OC welcome to all new members, seven new members joined us at the Bus Types show, I hope that they enjoy being members and get the most out of their membership. There are many other bene ts apart from the many discounts that have been negotiated for you.
I have had a few members leave the club which is always sad, but it is usually because they have sold their vans. VW’s are very valuable assets and are not sadly always feasible to keep.
There have been lots of members asking me for the code to obtain the club exclusive rate for Busfest bookings, don’t forget to do it or put it o for too long as once it is full, you will be too late. I hope that there will be a full eld of VWT2OC members so that we can get to know each other, new members are often very grateful for the support of those who have had their vans for longer. Before that, I hope there will be a long, hot summer.
