using to School
Pros
The university provides you with a free bus pass, so you
spend no extra money aside from tuition on school. It’s
likely that you will meet someone who is making the
same commute as you, or a similar one, so you can
make friends with the people on the same bus. Also,
depending on how long the bus ride is you can squeeze
in some readings or studying on your ride to school.
Cons
However, busing also means you can’t just go to
school whenever you want and leave whenever you
want; you have to go by the bus schedules. It also
takes longer than driving because buses stop a lot.
There is again the potential that it could be more
difficult to make friends at school because you don’t
live on campus. Also, you won’t have the same level of
freedom as other first years because you’re still living
under your parents’ roof.
