riving to School
Pros
By driving to school, you get to live at home, so if
you get homesick it won’t be a problem. You can
always eat whatever you are in the mood for and
you get home cooked meals. Money-wise you
save about $8000 that you would’ve spent on
residence and a meal plan. You also always have
the option to get away from distractions you
might face in university buildings and study
spaces.
Cons
There are cons to this too, you have to deal with
traffic getting to class. This is so unpredictable
especially during rush hour where your travel time
could be doubled. It might be a little harder for
you to make friends because you don’t have the
same sense of community and because attending
events can be challenging when you have a
commute a head of you. You also have less
freedom because you’re still living under your
parents’ roof.
