This centre focuses largely on providing a positive and supportive environment for women
and transgender individuals at the University of Waterloo. It hosts many di erent events and
discussions throughout the term. Here are a few of the many initiatives that you can take
part in:
•Workshops, film screenings and guest lectures on topics such as women’s health and
sexual violence
•Seminars and speakers that discuss issues pertaining to women in the Waterloo
