Waterloo strives to empower women through many of the
campaign goals:
1) Boost female student participation in STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) outreach experiences
to 33% by 2020
2) Improve female faculty representation to 30% by 2020

The University of Waterloo has also put together
many STEM programs and events for young girls. If
