SCIENCES

The University of Waterloo is
one of Canada's most
prestigious post-secondary
institutions. The Applied Health
Sciences (AHS) is one among
seven diverse faculties at the
university.

AHS is unique when compared
to other faculties through it's
small and tight-knit community.
It is also one of the newest
faculties here at Waterloo.
It is home to the rst ever
Kinesiology program in Canada
as well as the rst faculty to
o er a B.Sc in Health Studies.
The Public Health program is
best known for it's global
outreach initiatives. Lastly, the
Recreation and Leisure Studies
program takes a holistic
approach to health recognizing
various factors that determine
