Dr Amy Plowman joined in August as our new Head of Conservation and Science. Amy
will lead this team ensuring our strategic aims and mission are achieved.
Laura Taylor has joined as Executive Support Officer working primarily with our CEO and
brings a wealth of experience.
Michael Rogers has joined as Senior Development Officer (Species on the Edge) and will

Skills for bees; Cymru - new three year project
Beginning in early 2021, we kick off the year
with a new three year project to increase
bumblebee recording in Wales. The Skills for
bees; Cymru project will focus on filling our
knowledge gaps, particularly in areas with
few or no up-to-date bumblebee records. We
will be targeting our training at staff and volunteers within organisations with some
existing confidence in wildlife recording. You can read more on the project and how

Tom Wright – London Marathon
London Marathon runner Tom Wright, raised £3,000 for

very much only the beginning of a long journey, but it
