Mineral Makeup FAQ’s

What colour agents are in your cosmetics?

We colour with iron oxides and other minerals. These natural

minerals are obtained from the earth and have been used

centuries as pigments. Keep in mind that the iron oxides go

through a purification process to make them suitable for

cosmetic use.

Can I apply CozLab eye shadows on my lips?

Yes. Because we don’t use FD&C dyes or lakes in our makeup,

our reds, pinks, and peaches can be worn on the lips, cheeks, or

eyes. You may wish to use any of our colours as eyeliner, or body

shimmers. Ask your account manager how!

Can I create my own colours?

Absolutely, you can use our products as they come or mix them

together in various combinations, creating your own signature

colours that are perfect for you.

What cleanser should I use?

We recommend using a good quality and moisturizer without

silicones. This will ensure a flawless application and allow for a

longer lasting finish.

Why Has My Favourite Product Changed Slightly in Colour?

Slight differences in some products may occur due to raw

ingredients and pigment variation. Most naturally derived

ingredients tend to vary in colour and texture.
