s a native Houstonian, I was raised and currently reside in Houston’s East End, so I
take great pride and am honored to be your President. Together with our amazing
A staff, Board of Directors and Ambassadors, we highlight how the East End has

THE EAST END IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Our Houston East End Chamber area spans east of downtown, south of I-10, to the Port of
Houston and reaches Hobby Airport. We are a vibrant, international business district rich in
diversity and community and bursting with restaurants, cultural venues and residential and
commercial land, ready for developers and investors to house the next East End Business of
the Year. Our community is a magnet for business growth.
THE EAST END IS ALWAYS ON THE MOVE
The proximity to the Port of Houston allows the transportation, maritime and petrochemical
industry to flourish, along with convenient access to major freeways I-45, 59, 610 and I-10.
Whether for leisure or for commute, the East End offers beautiful hike and bike trails that
connect the city. Also available is METRO’s East End Line which will give you an easy way to
get to Houston’s East End and connect with the different parts of the city including Downtown,
