Archery Try-it

This is your opportunity to learn more about archery.
Four different sessions.
Must be 8 years old or older.
Limited to 10 guests each half-hour.
You must sign up on-site and present a ticket to access the range.
Minors must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before they participate.

Be a Deer Biologist! 2:00 p.m.
Gearing up for the Firearm deer season? Or just interested in learning more about Michigan’s state mammal? Join Holly Vaughn from the DNR Wildlife Division for a fun and interactive lesson about the basic biology of white-tailed deer and the finer points of deer aging. We’ll talk a little bit about chronic wasting disease and bovine tuberculosis and how you can help the DNR fight these insidious diseases. Finally, we’ll teach you how to age your own harvested deer and we’ll even do a practice deer aging “test”.
FEE: Included with the price of admission.

Sweetest Day Date Night 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Think the Outdoor Adventure Center is just for kids or that there is nothing ‘romantic’ within the building? Well think again! Come join us with your sweetie to celebrate Sweetest Day! We will feature archery, craft cocktails (in a special OAC pint glass that is yours to keep), bonfires, and even a hayride... for adults only!
FEE: $20 per person.
