Nature Exploration at Milliken State Park

Late summer is a beautiful time to enjoy nature. Join us on a hike across the street to explore the wetland area at Milliken State Park. We will look for trees, wildflowers, birds, insects, and other wildlife to identify.
A limited number of binoculars will be provided. FEE: Event is included with the price of admission.

Archery Try-it
1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
This is your opportunity to learn more about archery. Four different sessions.
Must be 8 years old or older.
Limited to 10 guests each half-hour.
You must sign up on-site and present a ticket to access the range.
Minors must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before they participate.

Whether it’s through an urban trail, a wetland, or the woods, hiking in Michigan’s outdoors is something everyone can enjoy! Join us at the Outdoor Adventure Center for information about fantastic places to hike and what gear can be beneficial when you hit the trail. While you’re here, join us on a guided evening hike on one of our nearby urban trails.
