               ANGELS OVERALL The 2018 Angels completed their 58th MLB campaign (53rd in Anaheim) with an 80-82 mark, in
             fourth place in the A.L. West (-23.0)...Finished under .500 for a third consecutive season, first time for franchise
         2018 review
             since 1992-1994...First time with three consecutive full losing seasons since 1975-77…Club was 23-23-7 in 53 series…
             Finished 80-82 for a second straight season…Only other instance LAA finished with same mark in back-to-back
             campaigns came in 1987 & 1988 (75-87)...Angels were 49-48 before the All-Star break and 31-34 after...Halos
             were 42-39 at home, 38-43 on road...Angels were 11-21 vs. A.L. East, 22-12 vs. A.L. Central, 37-39 vs. A.L. West and
             10-10 against N.L. foes...Club was a season-best 10 games over .500 on April 14 (13-3)...13-3 record thru 16 games
             established best start in Club history…Angels’ 9-1 start on the road marked best in team history through 10 games...
             Halos fell to fourth place on June 26th and remained in spot for duration of season (97 consecutive days).
             HI, MY NAME IS… 60 players (35 pitchers - 16 starters) appeared in 2018 to set the single-season franchise mark…16
             players made MLB debuts breaking team record of 12 (1996 & 1975)...Halos made 290 transactions (40-man roster)
             from Opening Day until end of season to set a new team record (prev. 253 transactions in 2017)...LAA had a franchise
             record 15 players on D.L. simultaneously on two occasions…Angels sent 25 different players to the disabled list.
             SHELVED The pitching staff was riddled with injuries again in 2018...14 pitchers spent time on the disabled list,
             including eight starters (all six in projected rotation - Garrett Richards, Andrew Heaney, Tyler Skaggs, Shohei Ohtani,
             JC Ramirez & Nick Tropeano)...By May 24th, nine LAA hurlers were on the D.L., including four of five projected in
             starting rotation (Richards, Skaggs, Heaney & Tropeano)...Six Angels pitchers underwent Tommy John surgery in 2018

             SEEING RED Angels reached the three million mark in home attendance (3,020,216) for the 16th consecutive season,
             an active streak matched only by the New York Yankees (20 consecutive seasons).
             MR. 3,000!!! On May 4th at Seattle, a fifth inning single off Mike Leake marked career hit #3,000 for Albert Pujols...
             •  Became 32nd player all-time to reach 3,000 hits, second in as many seasons (Adrián Beltré; July 30, 2017 vs. Baltimore).
             •  Fourth player in MLB history with at least 3,000 knocks and 600 HRs (Hank Aaron, Willie Mays & Alex Rodriguez).
             • Sixth foreign-born player to reach 3,000 hits (second Dominican; Beltre).
             •  One of four players with 3,000 hits, 450 HRs & 600 doubles (Aaron, Carl Yastrzemski, Beltre & Musial).
             •  Joined Rod Carew (Aug. 4, 1985 vs. Minnesota) as only players to log 3,000th hit in an Angels’ uniform.
             • Matched Stan Musial and Alex Rodriguez as only players with 3+ MVP Awards and 3,000 hits.
             MILESTONE WATCH Albert Pujols (633 HRs) enters 2019 ranked sixth on the all-time HR list (Willie Mays is fifth with
             660 HRs)...He ranks 24th on all-time hit list with 3,082 (Ichiro is 23rd with 3,089)...Pujols needs 18 RBI to be just fifth
             player in history to reach 2,000 (Hank Aaron - 2,297, Babe Ruth - 2,214, Alex Rodriguez - 2,086 & Cap Anson - 2,075).
