BUNK1 Bunk Notes
Camp Timberlane offers a one-way email service for campers. Bunk1’s Bunk Note messaging system allows parents to send emails to their campers directly through our website.
How does Bunk Notes work?
Sign on to our camp’s password-protected website, type your letter and hit send. Letters are stored on Bunk1’s secure servers and are automatically sent to our camp daily (as a single e-mail attachment), pre-sorted by cabin and camper name! Campers receive emails each evening after dinner.
The Bunk1 code for 2017 is: TMB2017
International Communication
Packages and Parcels
We do not accept parcels, packages or oversized envelopes for campers. If you wish to send reading material, please send it in a flat envelope no larger than 9x12 inches. If you need to send some other important items or necessities to your child, we ask that you call the office to confirm that it is ok to send the item(s) to camp. To avoid disappointment, please pass this information on to aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends.
Birthday packages may be sent - please contact our office and let us know in advance. Any approved item should be sent to the attention of Brit or Ida who will supervise distribution.
We do not accept parcels that are COD or where duty must be paid. We do not take responsibility for lost packages. We suggest using Purolator, FedEx or UPS. Please note that as a safety precaution, our team screens all packages coming into camp. All banned items will not be distributed and will be donated to charity.
Voice Mail
If you call the camp office, don’t be surprised if you reach our voice mail - it means were busy with the campers. Messages left on the camp voice mail are usually returned by the following evening. We do not accept messages for staff on the main phone line.
Campers who reside outside of Canada are permitted to email letters home at any time. In addition, these campers may make one phone call upon arrival at camp and one phone call prior to their departure. Campers are responsible for supplying their own phone cards, but we can provide them and charge them to the individual camper’s account. International campers can send an email home once per week.
