The Tuck Shop
Tuck is limited to one edible item and one beverage three times per week, as well as replacement toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste and soap (all of which are included in your camp fee).
Prescriptions, dental or medical expenses and select Timberlane clothing (i.e. sweats, hats, etc.) are additional charges.
Spending Money
Please do not send spending money with your child. If your child brings cash to camp, we are not responsible for it being lost or stolen. In the event that your child has money at camp, we encourage him/her to place it in the camp safe.
TIMBERLANE
Laundry
Camper laundry service is available once per week and is included in your camp fee. Laundry is done overnight. The clothes are washed, dried and folded, but not ironed. Hand laundry is not permitted in the cabins. Emergency laundry is always available and is handled discreetly.
To avoid lost or misplaced clothing, please make sure to label all of your child’s clothing and personal items including baseball gloves, cameras, fishing rods, shoes, coats etc. We suggest using a permanent black marker (Sharpie) where name tapes are not applicable. It is recommended that every camper brings his/her own laundry bag to be used until laundry day. Please make sure these laundry bags are clearly marked as well.
Fluff & Fold There are occasional opportunities or outings when a camper
may wish to have his/her own spending money. We suggest the amounts below. This money will be given to your child by the trip supervisor. Most children will not exceed these guidelines, and many will not need money at all.
for Grades 1 & 2 Only
Timberlane provides a linen service for our youngest campers. Male and female campers in grades 1 and 2 will receive "comfy" sheets to guarantee a cozy and CLEAN bed all summer long (bedding will be changed twice per week). We still recommend that children pack their favourite comforter or blankets, pillow and case, as they will be able to identify their beds that will be made for them when they arrive.

Sunscreen & Bug Repellent
Sunscreen is a mandatory policy at camp — for all campers and staff. We also insist that the children wear hats whenever possible. Please make sure that you send ample sunscreen and hats with your child. Replacement sunscreen is available in our Tuck Shop. We also encourage all campers to apply bug spray when needed, especially during overnights, hikes and in the evening.
