This Benefits Guide outlines benefit plan options sponsored by TCW (the Company) for eligible employees. All benefits, including eligibility for coverage, are subject
to the Company’s terms and conditions as well as the provisions of the group insurance contracts. Any discrepancy between this guide and the insurance contracts or
other legal documents that govern the plans of benefits described in this enrollment guide will be resolved according to the insurance contracts and legal documents.
Nothing in this enrollment guide will amend, modify, increase, expand, enhance or in any other way alter the terms of the underlying benefit plans as set forth in the
insurance contracts and other legal documents that govern them. In the event of a conflict with IRS regulations, IRS regulations will govern.
TCW reserves the right to amend or discontinue the benefits described in this enrollment guide in the future, as well as change how eligible employees and TCW share
plan costs at any time for any reason. This enrollment guide creates neither an employment agreement of any kind nor a guarantee of continued employment with
TCW.
As an employee, the health benefits available to you represent a significant component of your compensation package. They also provide important protection for you
and your family in the case of illness or injury.
Your plan offers a series of health coverage options. Choosing a health coverage option is an important decision. To help you make an informed choice, your plan
makes available a Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC), which summarizes important information about any health coverage option in a standard format, to
help you compare across options. The SBC is available on the web at www.smartben.com.
This is to advise you the company’s SPD, Benefit Booklets, Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs) annual health plan notices for 2019 are available at
www.smartben.com. These notices provide important information about the company’s health benefits. Please share these notices with your family members. If you
have any questions, or if you would like a hard copy of the notices, please contact the Human Resources.
