You may purchase additional insurance from MetLife that will help to cover additional out-of-pocket expenses. These policies offer
direct-to-the-policyholder cash payouts to help cover what other insurance doesn’t. The policies available include Accident, Critical
Illness with Cancer, and Hospital Indemnity insurance. Your premiums are paid through payroll deductions on an after-tax basis.
These MetLife policies are portable, which means that you can keep them should you change jobs or retire, with no increase in
premiums.
MetLife | Accident MetLife | Critical Illness and Cancer
MetLife Accident insurance will pay you a benefit to help cover MetLife Critical Illness insurance can help you protect yourself

choose. This benefit is available for you, your spouse/domestic
partner, and your children. You have a choice of two levels of
coverage through MetLife’s Low or High plans.
There are no pre-existing condition limitations, with the
exception of hospitalizations due to pregnancy, which are
covered after 9 months. Benefits are paid directly to the insured
and do not coordinate with any other benefit payments.
