Who Can Enroll

You (if you are a full-time Rioter working at least 30 hours per week) and your dependents can enroll.
Your eligible dependents are these people:

           • Children under age 26 • Spouse • *Domestic partner (registered or unregistered)

        * If you have a domestic partner and they get benefits through Riot, you are subject to additional tax implications,
including a higher taxable income and paying taxes on the benefits they receive. If you have questions, get in touch
         at benefits@riotgames.com.

        When You Can Enroll

Enrollment is only available at these specific times:

         • During our annual Open Enrollment (OE)
(changes made during OE go into effect on January 1st and are in effect until December 31st)
         • Within 30 days of your start date

         • Within 30 days of a qualified change in family status
(see examples in the next section)

        Making Changes To Your Enrollment

This part’s important: once you choose your benefits, you can’t modify them unless you experience what’s known in the
insurance world as a ‘qualified change in family status’—it’s basically a major change in your life situation.

EXAMPLES OF A QUALIFIED CHANGE INCLUDE (BUT AREN’T LIMITED TO)

             • Marriage, divorce, legal separation, or annulment (for married couples or registered domestic partners)
             • Birth or adoption of a child

             • Loss of a spouse, partner, or child
             • Change in your dependent’s eligibility status (child turning 26, spouse gaining coverage elsewhere, etc.)
             • Loss of coverage from another health plan

             • Change in your residence or workplace (if your benefit options change)
             • A Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO)

             • Loss of coverage through Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
             • Becoming eligible for a state’s premium assistance program under Medicaid or CHIP

PROOF OF THE CHANGE IS REQUIRED TO ADJUST YOUR PLANS (COURT DOCUMENTS, BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR A NEWBORN, ETC.)

                                                            REMEMBER!
Coverage for a new spouse, partner, or newborn is not automatic. Fear not, though. You get 30 days to update
your coverage (or you’ll have to wait until next OE to make changes).
