TOPIC: Transforming Care Delivery with Machine Learning
During the past decade the confluence of massive, digital datasets and sophisticated machine learning algorithms has sparked an
artificial intelligence revolution across many industries. Thanks to the integrated nature of our system and our early adoption of
the electronic medical record, Kaiser Permanente has built an unmatched comprehensive and longitudinal health care dataset. You
will learn about the many ways Kaiser is putting this data to work from building models that anticipate patients’ health needs and
recommend the best course of action to clinicians, to training computers to diagnose conditions in patient submitted photos.
