Page 85 - Creeative Thinking
P. 85
This means that you want to do this for yourself. Not because someone else
wants you to. It has to be your decision and yours alone and you must be
committed to making this happen. Once you have made such a commitment,
take things, as in life, one step at a time.
As with any type of change, you may feel somewhat uncomfortable at first.
This is a natural reaction and nothing to get alarmed over. As long as you take
things slowly and don’t try to rush yourself in to making changes you are not
ready for, it will begin to get more comfortable with each passing day.
By now you have begun some of the worksheets in the previous chapters and that
alone should help to alleviate some of the uneasiness you may have felt at the
beginning of this workbook. As well, once you notice your life changing for the better
in small ways and getting increasingly easier, any apprehension you may have felt will
slowly fade away. Soon you will find yourself slipping in to a more positive approach
to life without thinking twice. That is when you will begin to see a change in yourself
and I’m sure others will see it, too.
In the first few chapters we discovered that thought forms are the basis for everything
in life. With this realisation and the power of positive thinking we are well on the
way to winning the battle toward a happier, more fulfilling life. There are, however,
a few small changes you can make to your behaviour that will yield very big results
in your life.
Now that you already practise thinking positive on a daily basis, you are ready to take
this one step further. You can move from thinking positive to Acting Positive as well.
By this I mean you can make a real effort to be just a little bit nicer to the people
around you. Sure this may sound a little corny, but the fact is that congeniality is
contagious. In short, if you are nice to people, they’ll be nice to you.
