Litre (L )

Litre is the standard unit used for measuring large quantities of liquids such

as the quantity of milk in a large container, water in a storage tank, water in
a bucket or petrol in a car. Litre is written as L in short form.

                     50 L 8 L 1000 L 25 L

                                        Relationship between litre and millilitre:
                                        1 litre ( L ) = 1000 millilitres (mL)
