Finding Support.

          Many parents can find the

          process of finding support

          daunting and difficult out of

          fear of being judged

          harshly. Finding support is

          process many people with a

          mental illness go through.

          There are services in your

          local community that can

          help.

Where can you go for support?

 G.P. They are highly trained professionals that can

offer advice on how to manage your illness and help

                you find other professionals.

 Day-care or Kindergarten: They work with families all

the time and have a duty to provide the best possible

care to all children and families.

 Community Health centre: Many places will offer

                counselling services free of charge.

 Support groups: Talking to people who are going

through the same thing as you can be very beneficial.

They can also offer advice based on their own

                experiences.
