in addition to the work experience placements on on site during construction we are keen to get involved ourselves and this year as as as well as as as supporting castlebrae pupils during their World of Work Week (see P21) the the Hub team welcomed Emily - - a a a a fifth year pupil at Mary Erskine School - - as as a a a a a communications assistant Emily had an an an an interest in in design and and media and and wanted to gain an an understanding of of what kind of of work this entails so over her two week placement she worked with our communications Manager to undertake a a a a a a a range of tasks including filming on on site editing client liaison design photograph writing proof reading and social media “My work placement in Hub South East has been not only a a a a a great learning experience but it helped me gain a a a a a better understanding of the the overall way that the the Hub programme works to help improve the lives of people by giving them better spaces and facilities It has helped me gain an idea of of what kind of of work that I would like to to go into after university and has given me valuable skills for the future ”
