Create a new OneNote notebook from SharePoint Online (top) or OneDrive for Business (bottom).
Working with notebooks
Creating a new notebook in OneNote Online can be done from a document library in SharePoint Online or OneDrive for Business. Click New, then select OneNote notebook, as shown in see Figure 14-4.
OneNote Online opens a notebook in Editing Mode by default. You can immedi- ately make changes to your notebook; as you type, your changes are saved auto- matically. If another user opens the same notebook in either the online or the desktop application, simultaneous coauthoring automatically begins. Changes made by each of the authors are synchronized almost instantly.
To close the notebook, navigate away from the page by clicking the breadcrumb on the Office 365 navigation bar.
A quick way to access all your notebooks in one spot is by navigating to https:// office.com and logging in with your Office 365 credentials. On the Welcome page, click the OneNote icon to launch the OneNote page. One the landing page, you will see all the recent notebooks you’ve been working on in the Recent tab (see Figure 14-5). The My Notebooks tab displays all the notebooks you have created or have access to.
