Going Beyond Websites with SharePoint and OneDrive for Business
Finding out what people think about SharePoint is always interesting. Ten dif- ferent people will often give ten different answers. One thing most people have as a common understanding is that SharePoint focuses on websites.
SharePoint definitely handles websites with ease, but there is a whole lot more under the covers.
In this chapter, we explain some of the features SharePoint has beyond websites. In particular, you discover how adept SharePoint is at managing digital content and unlocking the wealth of information contained in that content through the Search feature. Search is the ability to find the digital content you are looking for when you are looking for it.
