EYES INC—CCEP Yearly Report for 2019-2020 — Version 0.3 June 22, 2020
 8.6 GPRA
As described in the outcome-specific evaluation narrative, GPRA will be administered at intake, discharge, and six months follow-up for each of the study’s participants. Data were received from the SAMHSA SPARS database for all either of the participants who enrolled in the program. Results are presented below for each of the sections of CSAT GPRA Client Outcome Measures for Discretionary Program guide document (04/24/2017 revision). Data uploaded from SPARS included all sections of said document and was accompanied by information pertaining to underlying client medical conditions (including ICD-10 codes, questions about alcohol and drug disorders the client may have.
As a disclaimer, at this time, we are choosing to present mainly data pertaining to participant characteristics at intake. As previously mentioned, only three participants successfully completed the program and were in residence for at least 120 days. Very little meaningful information would be gained by displaying a side-by-side comparison of the population at intake versus discharge. Any measure of statistical difference would be impossible. As such, these comparisons will be made in the Year Report for Year 2.
8.6.1 Client Demographics
As part of the GPRA data collection tool, participants were asked to provide demographic information, including their military status, as applicable (Table 3). All participants were between the ages of 35 to 44 years old, with four being exactly thirty-five years of age. Four (57.1%) were Caucasian and three were African American (42.9%). Only one participant (14.3%) had previously been part of the Armed Forces, albeit never deployed.
