EYES INC—CCEP Yearly Report for 2019-2020 — Version 0.3 June 22, 2020
8.5.2 Objective 4.2: Utilize beneficial program outcomes and leverage SAMHSA start-up funds to sustain an on-going program for high need pregnant and postpartum women and their minor children.
Outcome 4.2.1: Ongoing increases in Isaiah House staff’s ability to provide EBPs by continuous training for staff and new mentors.
All staff and new mentors will be trained, at the very least, on the delivery of certain portions of the intervention suite. All trainings will be document and tallied. The intervention will be considered compliant for this outcome if all staff and new mentors have updated training records on file for each year. A percentage of the number and percentage of staff who have receiving either training on any EBP will be presented in each year’s Annual Report. As Year 1 largely involved ramp-up activities, CCEP program administrators worked with Isaiah House to appropriately train all staff (100%) on the interventions being provided, forms required to document successful completion, and evaluations to be performed
Outcome 4.2.2: Develop training curricula to train other substance abuse clinical staff and providers throughout the community in strategies and EBPs shown to have beneficial outcomes in the CCEP.
During Year 1 the CCEP developed its entire intervention suite and compiled numerous documents that aid in the execution of this grant. As the program progresses, certain strategies that are deemed to be effective will be recognized. Training materials will be developed after the production of the Year 1 Annual Report to help train clinical staff and providers on said strategies. As curricula are developed, their completion will be documented. Moving forward, the intervention will be considered compliant with this outcome, if curricula are developed for at least three of the curricula used in the CCEP intervention suite.
Outcome 4.2.3: Share beneficial outcomes with New Jersey Department of Health and New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Addiction Services.
Starting in Year 2, the intervention will be considered compliant for this outcome if at least three beneficial outcomes are shared with the New Jersey Department of Health and New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Addiction Services across any year in the evaluation period.
