EYES INC—CCEP Yearly Report for 2019-2020 — Version 0.3 June 22, 2020
All clients who complete vocational or work-readiness training as part of the intervention will be contacted by Isaiah House on a monthly basis after completion to determine whether or not the participant was able to procure employment on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Compliance to this outcome will be calculated as the total number of women who have completed vocational or work-readiness training who have procured work divided by the total number of women who completed vocational or work readiness training, reported as a percentage. Said percentage will be reported for each year and cumulatively for Years 2, 3, 4, and 5.
In order to begin to financially rehabilitate enrolled women, CCEP assisted all seven participants with completing resumes, as none previously had created one. It is the program’s hope that, by at least identifying each woman’s skills and availability to work through the creation of a résumé, the program can begin to increase self-awareness pertaining to employment and that the women can be equipped to search for work. One client was even hired for a position; however, due to the rigors of their schedule (CCEP, legal, child protective), she was unable present to work and was therefore unable to maintain said employment
8.4
Goal 3: Decrease involvement in and exposure to crime, violence, and neglect; and decrease physical, emotional, and sexual abuse for all family members.
8.4.1 Objective 3: Conduct evidence-based practices (EBP), specifically Seeking Safety (SS), the Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) in English and Spanish.
Outcome 3.1: At least 60% of CCEP clients found to have experienced prior trauma based on the PTSD Checklist will agree to participate in SS and TREM sessions to address their PTSD/trauma-related issues.
Two participants scored above thirty (30) on the PCL-5. Of those, one (1 – 50%) attended SS and TREM for eleven days (out of sixteen total days offered). As previously mentioned, MET was not provided during Year 1 of CCEP.
