of women who reconnect is calculated as the total number of women who reconnect divided by the total number of women treated in a given year.
Of the seven women enrolled during Year 1, only one situation allowed for CCEP to assist the woman with a reconnection. When asked about being reunified with family members or partners, only one out of the seven were assisted by coordinating visitations (see below – Client ID JG5932).
§ SM5423: revealed family was her trigger and didn’t want to be assisted with family counseling.
§ DJ2933: was court ordered to not have contact with her partner who was the father of her child. Client refused to be reunited with any other family.
§ JG5932: Staff assisted by coordinating dad to visit child at Isaiah House, as per the Division of Children and Families, the child’s father was not allowed visitation without mom’s supervision
§ JM7764: Participant was also assisted by CCEP to arrange visitation with her children. Outcome 2.2.2: 20% of non-custodial women will be reunited with a child that was lost to
children’s services (DCF) or foster care because of their substance abuse disorders.
The percentage of women who are reunited with a child that was lost to DCF or foster care is calculated as the total number of women being reunited divided by the total number of women being treated in a given year, and across all study years. Of the seven women enrolled in the program, four had children living with someone else due to a child protection court order. Of those four non-custodial women, one (JM6674 - 25%) was informed that after completing CCEP successfully, in order to be reunited with her child, she would have to attend a “Mommy and Me” program with a high level of care. The CCEP Staff will follow-up in 6 months to verify if client was reunited with her child.
8.3.3 Objective 2.3: Improve parenting skills, family functioning, economic stability, and quality of life;
Outcome 2.3.8: 70% of clients enrolled in and completing vocational or work-readiness training, will be employed within six-months after completion.
