As a further response, the CCEP program developed the following protocol for its required activities and sessions.

  • Residents must wash their hands on the first floor prior to going upstairs to their unit
• Residents who return from outside will need to change their clothing and wash
immediately
• Clothes that were worn outside of Isaiah House should be placed in a closed laundry bag
 o Any resident who leaves the building for a smoke break does not have to change their clothing
   • Clients who are transient need to wash their clothes more frequently
• A schedule should be created to ensure that no more than 4 people are doing laundry at a
time if using the laundry facility in the basement.
   • There will be 5 smoke breaks allowed per day
 o Residents/Staff can only smoke in the back yard o No more than 5 people at a time for all floors
   • Residents should make one trip to the store once a week
• Residents should stock up on any essential needs instead of leaving each day or hour to
go to the store
• Storage bins should be provided to residents to hold any non-perishable food items in
their rooms
   • All staff should wear face coverings at all times.
• Residents are required to wear a face mask at all times except when in their rooms.
